The Arey Cottage is located on beautiful Patten Pond, 5 short miles from Ellsworth and a 20 minute drive from Acadia National Park and Blue Hill....The Arey Cottage will provide you with an enjoyable vacation experience. The family friendly cottage has an open indoor layout and sleeps 10 people. It possesses a large front deck with French doors that overlooks 300 feet of water frontage, and is ideal for entertaining and gathering. You will see spectacular sunrises to the east as you watch the sun move across the front of the house with gorgeous sunsets to the west. Patten Pond is a nature lovers paradise with abundant wildlife and picturesque scenery. Arey Cottage has 100 feet of dock space available for you to bring your own boat. You can kayak a short distance to the boat landing or go for a nice swim off the dock. Or, if you just want to relax you can lounge around in an inflatable tube or read a good book in the hammock. Whatever you choose to do your stay here at Arey Cottage will be an unforgettable experience.
